European Games 2023 - Krakow

This summer Ben competed for TEAM GB at the European Games in Krakow, as the first-ever male fencer in his weapons group to secure British Olympic Association and Team GB selection for the European Games.

The European Games are held every 4 years and are a multisport event governed by the EOC, European Olympic Committee. Ben joined the 178-strong Team GB squad for Krakow 2023, featuring several Olympic gold medalists, including Charlotte Worthington, Joe Choong, Jade Jones, and Joe Clarke, with a total of 32 Tokyo 2020 Olympians competing for Great Britain.

Selected by TEAM GB and the British Olympic Association Ben was the only male epeeist to qualify for the event that saw 2,254 athletes from 49 European countries compete in 29 sports
